The U & N Foundation, in collaboration with the All India Confederation of the Blind, initiated the Wisdom Walls Project to enhance educational facilities for visually impaired students at the Capt Chandan Lal Special School for the Blind.

Key Initiatives:

1. Creating Accessible Learning Environments: The project aimed to create inclusive learning spaces by constructing a spacious hall within the school premises. This hall would provide visually impaired students with a conducive environment for reading, research, and academic activities, designed with specialized features for easy navigation and accessibility.

2. Facilitating Educational Resources: Central to the project was the establishment of a comprehensive school library within the hall. This library would offer a diverse collection of braille books, audio resources, and tactile materials tailored to the needs of visually impaired students. Adequate seating arrangements and accessible shelving units would ensure comfortable and independent use of the library.

3. Empowering Visually Impaired Students: Through the Wisdom Walls Project, the foundation aimed to empower visually impaired students and enhance their educational experiences. The spacious hall and well-equipped library would provide students with opportunities to access a wide range of educational materials, expand their knowledge, and pursue academic interests confidently.

4. Fostering Collaboration and Innovation: The collaboration between the foundation and the All India Confederation of the Blind aimed to create a dedicated space for learning and exploration,  creativity, curiosity, and academic excellence among students.
