Pawsitive Initiative
Work Undertaken
The Pawsitive Initiative, led by the U & N Foundation, focuses on the welfare of stray dogs and cats. Through the Pawsitive Initiative, the U & N Foundation endeavors to create a more harmonious coexistence between humans and stray animals, recognizing their inherent value and right to live free from harm.
Key Initiatives:
1. Daily Feeding Program: Stray animals receive nutritious meals regularly, addressing hunger and malnutrition to promote their overall health and well-being.
2. Safety Measures: Reflective pet collars are distributed to enhance the visibility of stray animals, particularly during low-light conditions, reducing the risk of accidents involving vehicles.
3. Winter Protection: Warm jackets are provided to stray dogs and cats during colder months, offering insulation against cold weather and ensuring their comfort and warmth.
4. Shelter Solutions: Eco-friendly capsule homes are constructed to serve as shelters for stray animals, protecting from the elements and a safe space for resting and seeking refuge.
By promoting responsible pet ownership and raising awareness about animal safety in urban environments, particularly through the distribution of reflective collars, the initiative fosters a culture of compassion and empathy towards all living beings in society. The Pawsitive Initiative not only directly benefits stray animals but also contributes to building a more caring and inclusive community.
